"You'd be prettier if you smiled."

How many times have you been told "You'd be prettier if you smiled."? I use to hear this regularly when I was working as a gas station clerk. I'm introverted so greeting 300+ people per shift wasn't really my thing but I always tried to be polite and approachable to customers...but for real? I'm just trying to get ya gas and cigarettes paid for and move the line along. Why the fuck guys have the presumption that being pretty while I'm working is on my radar or that patronizing comments to your service workers is okay is beyond me.
These are just my random thoughts while I look through pictures I've taken of women with genuine smiles and laughter. I'm guessing I've heard 'you'd be prettier if you smiled' at least 40 times...what about you?
